Remembering William F. Buckley, Jr.
March 3, 2016
Raymond Keating, author and instructor of our course on Supply-side Economics has published a reminiscence of Bill Buckley who died in late February eight years ago. Remembering Bill Buckley
During his life, Bill Buckley travelled across America to speak to audiences about conservatism and met tens of thousands of young people who, now, later in life remember Bill. I, too, had several encounters with Bill, but the most memorable was driving him from Greater Pittsburgh airport into the city. That drive takes you through a tunnel at the end of which is a magnificent cityscape. Bill expressed awe at the sight of my home town and made me proud to be a Pittsburgher.
