PC at Colorado State University
December 19, 2016
Former Cong. Bob Schaffer and now principal of Liberty Common High School in Ft. Collins, CO has created an interest in Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. Professor Irene Vernon, Chairman of the Ethnic Studies Department at CSU, chose not to stand at Commencement during the National Anthem.
Though the ensuing discussion is focused on Professor Vernon’s bad choice, the real scandal is the Department of Ethnic Studies. The President of CSU-Ft. Collins is Tony Frank who, apparently, has no interest in what passes for “academics” at his University.
Like CU-Boulder, home to former “Professor” Ward Churchill, the state university system in Colorado is rife with PC programs that pass for scholarship.
