CNN 3 vs. AT&T 1/2

June 7, 2019

Watching CNN under new management of AT&T’s president of WarnerMedia, John Stankey, shows very modest progress. On a scale of 1-10, we give Stankey 1/2 of 1 point.

CNN’s constellation of Left-“Progressive Talents” was shaped by Jeff Zucker who was named Chairman of WarnerMedia News and Sports and sent to London where he was told to make major cuts in staff in CNN’s London office. For that we give Stankey 1/2 of 1 point, Advantage CNN.

The problem is that Jeff Zucker is the reason that CNN’s “news” coverage is slanted Leftward.

The 3 points earned by CNN since Stankey took control were:

1. Christi Paul’s staged interview with Cong. Ted Yoho, a veternarian, on critical national security issues;

2. CNN’s coverage of June 6 D-Day speeches by France’s President and the President of the United States. Ceremonies began at 5:00 am Eastern and CNN interrupted the presentations with several commercials and did not provide simultaneous translation of the French President’s remarks.

3. This morning, CNN featured negative criticism of President Trump’s interview by Fox New’s Laura Ingraham conducted within view of the graves of our American soldiers at Normandy on June 6.

That interview featured radical Leftist “journalist” Nia Malika Henderson and Kirsten Powers, a former deputy assistant U.S. trade representative for public affairs in the Clinton Administration and NY Democrat Party staffer. After publishing The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech by the conservative publisher, Regnery, she was picked up by Fox News and then dropped.

With CNN’s Leftists at 3 points to John Stankey’s 1/2 of 1 point, we are compelled to ask if Mr. Stankey has the sophistication to turn CNN around and rid its staff of Jeff Zucker, Christi Paul, Nia Malika Henderson, Wolf Blitzer, Victor Blackwell, Jake Tapper, Van Jones, Don Lemon and Kirsten Powers?
