The “Negative Nabobs” are Back!

July 11, 2020

Our attorney classes are oblivious to a growing public hatred of them, but on November 22, 2016 the Daily Mail revealed why increasing numbers of Americans hate journalists, print media, major television networks and, especially MSNBC and CNN.

Here is a summary of that meeting:

  Four of the individuals who attended Trump’s media summit on Monday are speaking about what happened during the off-the-record sit down

  Trump reportedly spent the first 20 minutes of the meeting telling those present that they were ‘liars’ and ‘dishonest’

  ‘After the meeting today, though – and I am being human with you here – I think, F*** him!’ said one person present

  ‘He is the same kind of blustering, bluffing blowhard as he was during the campaign,’ said another person in attendance of Trump’s behavior

  After hearing Trump’s criticisms of the media, one participant said the President-elect ‘truly doesn’t seem to understand the First Amendment

Because I am a trained political scientist, and came to maturity as Bill Buckley, Russel Kirk and Friedrich Hayek defined rejection of Progressive ideology in what came to be known as “the Conservative movement,” I watch a lot of cable news.

From 6 am when turncoat Republican and his shrill colleague, Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski, give a bad name to coffee on something called “Morning Joe,” I have cable news channels open on three televisions in order track the negative nabobs of major media as they remind the American public that in 2016 they elected the worst President in history.

That feeling is mutual since President Trump daily makes references to “fake news” and what he calls the “liars” in the ranks of American journalism.

By now, most Americans believe the President has a point, but this picture of media executives including MSNBC president Phil Griffin, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, NBC Nightly News host Lester Holt, is priceless!
