Bob Baffert Should Retire!
May 10, 2021
Bob Baffert’s Kentucky Derby winner, Medina Spirit, Churchill Downs announced Sunday, tested positive for the anti-inflammatory drug betamethasone.
Baffert claims that he didn’t do it, but it’s clear that Baffert, age 68, doesn’t supervise his barn.
Day to day management of thoroughbreds is a full time job, and Baffert has health issues, having nearly died from a heart attack in 2012. He told his wife “sell the horses,” if he died.
It’s clear Baffert should do that now and retire from racing thoroughbreds.
