Has CPAC been “Bought”?

February 5, 2022

On February 11, 2021, the Associated Press was the first member of the “Drive-by” Media to raise questions about spending practices of a ”Never Trump” PAC called the “Lincoln Project.” The term “Drive-by” Media was Rush Limbaugh’s term that equated major media to killers who shoot innocent victims and competing drug dealers from automobiles without stopping.

In another “Drive-by” incident, Steve Bannon was criticized for taking a payment of $1 million from a PAC organized to use private funds to build portions of Donald Trump’s “Wall” along the southern border of the United States with Mexico.

I do not criticize my fellow conservatives, but I raise this question about the American Conservative Union’s Matt Schlapp and close relations between the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC) and former President Donald Trump.

Is Matt Schlapp’s PAC being paid to promote Donald Trump?

The Conservative Movement which began as an intellectual “Reform Movement” in the 1950’s and led to holding the first Conservative Political Action conference organized by Human Events in 1961, had become a business as early as 1980 and ceased being simply an intellectual “movement,” when Ronald Reagan was elected President.

CPAC meets this year, starting February 24, so we ask again, “How much is Matt Schlapp paid as head of the PAC known as NCPA?”
